Born and raised in Pune, India, Aishwarya Sonar is an actor and producer working at the intersection of US Projects focused on identity and humanity.

She acted in Priyanka Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures' feature film, Kay Re Rascalaa. Her short, Three's Definitely a Crowd, has been trending on disney+/hotstar in India while another short, Ayesha, is available on ShortsTv after premiering at Oscar qualifying Bengaluru International Short Film Festival.

Some of her other work includes Nitishastra starring alongside Taapsee Pannu produced by Large Short films (6.5 million views), Sulochana (disney+ hotstar), Dictionary (Oscar qualifying LA international shorts festival), Through Her Glasses (MX player).

Her next projects are Hema, a Marathi language film about an immigrant mom in LA and Mysore Magic, produced by Emmy award winning Pineapple Cut Pictures.

With 7 years of experience, Sonar also has her production company, Lambe Log Productions.
